The Sydney International Boat Show commenced as an independent event in 1968, initially hosted at the Horden Pavilion in Moore Park until 1985. Subsequently, from 1986 to 1988, the show relocated to a temporary venue in Pyrmont, where it included an on-water segment. These three years marked the beginning of its transition to the long-term residence at the nearby Darling Harbour.

15.08.2024 – 18.08.2024 Uiva Flytande Lauttasaari HSK, Finland

23.08.2024 – 25.08.2024 Orust Sailboat Show Hallberg-Rassy, Sweden

The Orust Sailboat Show with Open Yard, held in Ellös, is primarily a sailboat and accessory exhibition. However, this year, it's also featuring a selection of motorboats due to the hiatus of the Marstrand Motorboat Show. Admission to the fair is free, and parking is complimentary on the Hallberg-Rassy site in Ellös. The event welcomes exhibiting sailboats of all brands, along with pre-owned sailboats presented by professional brokers and associated peripherals.

23.08.2024 – 25.08.2024 Marstrand Motorboat Show Marstrands Gästhamn, Sweden

The fair at Marstrand, organized by Sweboat, aims to showcase the comprehensive range of motorboats, jet skis, and accessories within the industry, all in one convenient location. In 2021, it was decided to split the fairs on the west coast. As a result, all sailboats from the previous year will be exhibited at the Orust Sail Boat Show with Öppet Varv in Ellös, while Marstrand will host all motorboats.

28.08.2024 – 01.09.2024 Hiswa Te Water Lelystad, Netherlands

The 39th installment of the Hiswa te Water is set to occur in 2024 at its familiar location, Bataviahaven Lelystad. Once again, the harbor will be converted into a haven for water sports enthusiasts of all kinds. Current indications suggest that the harbor will be brimming with activity, with all berths occupied and every stand along the quay and within the expansive entrance tent fully booked. Just as in previous years, the Hiswa te Water promises to be the ultimate event for individuals seeking information and inspiration regarding all facets of nautical water sports.

30.08.2024 – 01.09.2024 Allt at sea in Gustavberg Gustavsberg Harbour, Sweden

Allt på Sjön in Gustavsberg stands as Sweden's largest floating boat show, having run since 2011. Boat enthusiasts gather here at the end of August and beginning of September to explore the latest and greatest offerings from the sailing and motor boat industries, along with accessories. Each year, approximately 15 boat manufacturers opt to debut their world or Swedish premieres at Allt på Sjön. The event attracts both Swedish and international exhibitors, providing a diverse showcase of offerings. 

With around 25,000 visitors annually, rain or shine, it remains a highlight for boating enthusiasts. In 2023, the event featured 240 boats and products from approximately 80 accessory companies. The enduring popularity of Allt på Sjön is attributed to several factors, including its cost-effectiveness and excellent service for exhibitors, professional organization, and its foundation as an event by the boating industry, for boating enthusiasts.
